About the teacher

Mme Bournelis grew up in Langley. Her core values include kindness, creativity, compassion, curiosity, humour, authenticity, and optimism. She finds joy and inspiration in the classroom.

• She has wanted to be a teacher since she was in grade 6.
• Her favourite sport is soccer. She also loves skiing and snowboarding. When she was a teenager, she competed in track and field as a long jumper. Her personal best jump was 5 meters and 4 centimeters.

• She loves music of many genres and she plays piano.
• Her favourite foods are probably sushi, pizza, and chocolate. She also enjoys cooking and baking.
